Day 13 the Rhine

Ben found a fun tour for us to go on on our one day in Frankfurt. We met up and got on to a large bus and headed first to a German lunch, we both chose the Schnitzel. Then we got on a ship that cruised up a portion of the Rhine River where there were 10 castles. It was such a gorgeous day.

I was able to enjoy a piece of Black Forest Cake, one of my favorites.

The tour then took us back to where we had lunch to do a wine tasting. I think most people thought the wine tasting would be at one of the vineyards around the area but no, it was in this dark back room and most everyone was laughing at the strangeness of it.

After we were back Ben and I had dinner at an Indian restaurant down the the street from our hotel. Which happened to be in the red light distract and I was so glad it was an early dinner and it was light outside. But the nasn bread was thé best I’ve ever had.

Then off to bed as we head home in the morning!
