We are headed to Europe!
When our original 2019 summer plans got postponed and we started to discuss where to go this summer Ben said all he wanted was to see again, and have Ethan see for the first time, "Hamilton."
I countered with London has "Hamilton" and getting tickets is fairly easy in London compared to in the States. He was game and I started planning.
I was initially thinking London and then maybe move on to Scotland. I really want to visit Scotland but after doing research I realized August might be the worst time to visit. Alicia then asked for Catacombs and so Scotland was tossed out for Paris! I'll get to Scotland someday.
Alicia also wanted to visit a new country, she's been to the UK and France, so I started to look at the easiest add on and we came up with a fast train trip from Paris to Brussels for a day trip.
Trip now sketched out I slowly booked things as they came available over the 7 months, January through July, including tickets for "Hamilton."
Now we are on a direct flight that left PDX at 6:06 pm July 31 and will arrive August 1 at noon.
