Snow Days

Yesterday we got a nice amount of snow. I wasn't sure we would have church but we went and when we got home the kids and Ben made a snowman. This was the first time we have had enough snow in our own backyard to make a real size snowman. The kids had a blast! Then we headed down to Creswell so my dad could work on Alicia's grand prix car for AWANA. I was not sure this was a wise move but when we got to Jefferson I realized not everyone was getting their fair share of snow. It was safe drving until we hit Springfield where they actually had a tad more snow then we did in Stayton. It was fun for the kids to get to play in snow with my parents and then we headed back home. This morning there was just a dusting more on top of our now crusty yesterday snow, but no school. So the kids were out by 8 to play some more.

Thanks for your encouragement and prayers! Ryan even reminded me today "remember what Dee said, God is in control"! It was a good reminder!

Dee! I am so glad you are on here too! It's such a fun way to keep up with people. I will give you an update on us and not just the single brothers soon! We are excited to get our taxes done and see you guys soon. Jill

Why is it that we are the only ones that haven't had any snow this year, enough to play in at least. It is torturing Elsa...We've had a dusting 4 or 5 times now, but never enough to actually play in.

Glad you guys had fun. I remember the days when it was Ben and I playing on the mountain (until he hurt himself and got hauled off by ski patrol... :-))
