Kindle Frustration

So I have moved on to trying to download MP3 songs to play in the background of my kindle. I thought it would be easy. We have bought lots of songs on itunes and I thought I would just move them over. Wrong. They are not in the right format. So I thought hey, I will put the old fashioned CD in the computer and move those over. Wrong. They are not in the right format. I bought one song off of amazon but I don't want to buy more and I certainly do not want to listen to that one song over and over again as I read. So I am back to square one. No background music.

What do I do? Any experts out there? I need songs in MP3 format, not M4A or WMA, or whatever.

And I cannot wait to take this kindle to the beach with me on my girl weekend. No paper books getting sand blown into every page making the book twice its normal size.

You can google how to convert those files to mp3. There is a way, but I'm not sure if you have to buy the program that you need so you can convert them over. Good luck!

Dylan downloaded something for me to switch from itunes to mp3 or whatever format you need. It was a free format converter. He just found it on the internet. Good luck. If you can't get it to work you can call and Dylan can help you.

O, I would love to know the name of the one he used. I looked around quite a bit yesterday but there are so many. Some cost, some are free but I don't know the track record of any of them. Would like to know the name of what he uses.
