For the last month or so I have really felt the need/desire to do "something." I want to volunteer somewhere where I feel like I am actually helping others. I want to be doing something for others outside of the church. I have been thinking how I would like to work at a suicide hotline but I am sure that would take some sort of counseling license. I am just at a loss for what to do. This song by Brandon Heath has become my hearts cry. He has said what I have been feeling in such a beautiful way.

I love that song too, but I see it as let me see the hurt or pain that women are going through so that I can be a better women's ministry leader.

that song really makes me think everytime i hear it. i was watching a movie -the family that preys together- well it was a sad movie but the lady in it said something i have hear but needed to hear again you never know when you meet a stranger if they arent an angel - so we need to treat everyone with respect. that song is in the same line of thought to me. everyone has a story. the suicide helpline would be intense. you could help with that if you put your mind to it.
