Day 3 HAMILTON

So today was one of the days we had been really looking forward to.

Last time Alicia and I visited I posted a "lesson learned" was to build some down time into the schedule. This morning I did just that. Nothing planned for the entire day besides eating and our play in the afternoon. We slept in and then headed out to get SIM cards for the kids' phones and find Oyster cards which is what they use for transportation around here.
We moved slowly so our first stop was lunch at Pizza Express followed by trying to buy SIM cards for the kids phones.  The dude at Verizon in Stayton said our phones would be unlocked but that was not the case.  So that was a bust and a sad day for them.  Next was a quick visit through Westminster Cathedral before getting in line at Victoria Palace.
We found our seats and we're blown away with the view.  Great seats!
The musical is amazing.  I've heard the soundtrack for years but it so incredible to see it and our view allowed us to really see it.
We went to an Italian restaurant that some people suggested on a Hamilton facebook page.  But we really didn't care for the food. We headed back to our flat with a grocery stop for drinks and snacks.
Now we are in for the evening.  Hopefully bed around 11.
8,800 steps.
